Built by a contractor, not a software company.
StarCrew Reviews was built by Shiloh, who runs Paintable — a painting company in Vermont.
After every job, he'd ask customers face-to-face for a Google review. They'd say "of course!" — and then forget. The good reviews he earned weren't showing up, and the only ones that did were the occasional angry one.
So he built the thing he wished existed: a text that goes out after the job, with one tap for happy customers to leave a Google review — and a private channel for unhappy ones to reach him directly instead of going public.
It worked for his crew. Now it's available to yours.
